Our Oakham contemporary electric fireplaces offer clean and crisp lines of metal on each side and a bed of stones accentuating the flame effect.
The Oakham modern contemporary electric ventless fireplaces are ideal when ventilation is not possible.
In addition to using stones, other non-combustible materials such as beach glass or marbles may be used in the "fire area". This modern electric ventless fireplace has a heater built in with a thermostat. Choices for operation include: Flame effect only, flame effect with heater and flame effect with fan (no heat).
The Oakham contemporary and modern electric ventless fireplaces are compact units which can be mounted to hang against the wall, or for a built in look, the rear wall spacer may be removed and 4" of the unit may be recessed into a hole in the wall. This is a hang on the wall fireplace that also has the look of a hole in the wall model!
The optional Thames surround in natural and charcoal offers a great option to modify the overall look as well as increasing the outer dimensions and providing more mass to these contemporary electric ventless fireplaces.
Oakham modern and contemporary electric ventless fireplaces are designed in the UK and produced in China. They are UL approved for use in the US and Canada.

Oakham modern and contemporary electric ventless fireplaces can be built into existing dry-walls or simply hung on the wall. No ventilation is required.
The Oakham contemporary electric ventless fireplaces ship with a wall spacer attached to the rear of the unit. When hanging directly on the wall, the wall spacer stays attached and provides stability. For a built in look, simply remove the wall spacer and recess into a hole in the wall.
