Vent-Free / Ventless
A vent-free gas fireplace operates without a chimney, flue or vent, so you can install one just about anywhere. Modern vent-free gas fireplaces:
- Inexpensive and have low operating costs
- 99 percent energy efficient provide warmth during power outages
 Advantages
- Controlled release of the bio ethanol fluid, which extends the burn time of 1 litre of bio ethanol and therefore reduces the running costs.
- The porous block absorbs the fluid so that in the event a burner is knocked over, the bio ethanol is contained within the block and doesn't spill on to the surrounding area.
- The flame height is controlled by the consistent release rate of the porous block.

The Kreta brings visions of an old English hunting lodge with a roaring fire for the winter. This fire is shown in an off white fossil stone finish with a brick effect insert.
Our lightweight freestanding bio fires are built in the classical design of a mantel and chamber. The first six fires come with the option of three different inserts (price varies).
All the fireplaces are delivered as complete fireplaces and need no assembly. The lightweight fireplace is simply unpacked and placed against a wall.
Should you want to move your bio fire or move home, simply pick it up and take it with you (all freestanding fires come with a large bio burner).
 The Bio Burner is constructed from heavy gauge steel with a porous ceramic block that stores the bio ethanol fluid. The porous ceramic soaks up the bio ethanol like a sponge and then releases it in a controlled manner when required. Our bio ethanol burner is TUV approved and is one of the only bio fire in Europe with the TUV safety stamp of approval.
